Business Development Officer

Job Description
Proposal development, bid management, partnership and stakeholder engagement, client and relationship management, product support and tracking

Reports to: Chief Commercial Officer

Location: Nairobi

Requirements
  • Diploma in a business related course, preferably in sales and marketing;
  • +3 years in business development, sales executive or a relevant role;
  •  Demonstrated ability to identify leads, conduct basic market research, and support pipeline development.
  • High travel flexibility ;
  •  Good understanding of sales cycles, customer needs, and value-driven selling.
  •  Ability to build professional relationships and maintain positive client engagement.
  • Results oriented – tenacity and drive to seek new business and meet or exceed targets;
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills – needed for communicating with a wide range of people, both internally and externally
  • Initiative and confidence to start things from scratch;
  • Good networking skills;
  • Time management and planning skills;
  • Ability to build reports.
