Tax and Accounting Associate (Full-time)

Roles
1. Execute client assignments, including but not limited to tax compliance, tax due diligence, tax health checks, and tax advisory.
2. Prepare accurate monthly financial statements and management reports, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
3. Prepare and process monthly payrolls for clients in a timely and accurate manner.
4. Prepare and file statutory deductions (e.g., PAYE, NSSF, NHIF, VAT, withholding taxes) with relevant authorities within stipulated deadlines.
5. Perform detailed and value-adding reviews of tax computations to ensure accuracy and compliance.
6. Provide reliable and well-informed tax advice to clients across different sectors and jurisdictions.
7. Support business development through proposal writing, responding to expressions of interest (EOIs), cross-selling, and upselling of firm services.
Qualifications
Professional Accounting qualification – CPA(K) or ACCA
* A bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field from a recognized institution
* A minimum of 3 years of experience in accounting and tax practice
* Solid knowledge of tax regulations and the application of taxation across different sectors and jurisdictions in Africa
* Proficiency in accounting software and advanced Microsoft Excel skills
